Compensation for roles at Zurich depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific role, skill set, level of experience, and subject to applicable law. Zurich thus provides a range of compensation aligned to internal job architecture and market benchmarks to ensure fair and consistent pay for comparable roles. The starting base salary range for this position is 1930 EUR to 2900 EUR / Gross.
The level of the role and corresponding salary will reflect the candidate’s experience and expertise.

We are looking for a Model Developer to join our Actuarial Model Development Team. Our team focuses on developing and optimizing cash-flow models, offering exposure to a variety of challenging and impactful projects.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in development and is looking to further deepen their expertise in a dynamic, global environment. At the same time, we are also open to motivated fresh graduates with a strong background in mathematics or actuarial science who are eager to build their skills and actuarial modelling.

As an Actuarial Model Developer, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Developing optimizing and maintaining actuarial projection models in Life insurance.
- Developing supporting applications that provide data to the actuarial projection models.
- Automating and optimizing reporting processes across different business units.

- At least 2 years of practical experience in modeling and analytics in a similar field

- Communication skills, fluent in English

- Experience with programming in any language is an advantage
