Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a to join Kistler's Software Testing team to ensure the quality of embedded software powering a precision process monitoring system. In this role, you will drive testing strategy and automation, making sure every release meets the high reliability standards customers depend on.

You will:

• Define and implement test automation strategy, including backlog prioritization and tooling evaluation
• Design, create and execute automated and manual test cases based on requirements and use cases
• Maintain test environment, ensure traceability of tests to requirements, and report/retest defects
• Ensure adherence to non-functional requirements (stability, performance, error handling)
• Create required testing documentation (test plan, test report) per Corporate Guidelines
• Collaborate with Product Owner, developers and other stakeholders to ensure quality, including feedback on requirements testability and resolving quality-related issues
• Program and configure PLC and onboard new team members to Basic testing
