Lead Software Engineer

Core leadership & engineering competencies

• Experience working in GenAI-enabled environments and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.

Required technical experience/knowledge

Development:

• HTML5, CSS3
• React, Node.js, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript
• REST API design and integration, SQL
• Java 21, Spring Boot 3, and microservices-based architectures
• Experience building scalable, customer-facing web applications
• Authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and entitlement-driven access models
• Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous communication patterns, and system integration
• Familiarity with specification-driven engineering and AI-assisted software development practices

Cloud & DevOps:

• Deployment and operation in cloud environments
• CI/CD pipelines
• Containerization and cloud-native deployment patterns

Quality & Delivery:

• Strong experience with automated testing and regression strategies
• Experience with testing frameworks
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Proven track record of maintaining high engineering standards in production systems

Security:

• Secure-by-Design principles and secure software development practices
• OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and modern identity management
• OWASP Top 10 security controls and remediation practices
• Experience with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and application security testing
• Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements for enterprise applications

Top Candidates will also have

• Formal education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong passion for engineering excellence, maintainability, and long-term system health.
• Experience modernizing or stabilizing large, long-lived codebases.
• Exposure to production monitoring, observability, and operational support.
