You will play a central role in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of all IT systems at one of our locations, acting as the on‑site expert for users, shopfloor teams, and local management.
You will oversee the operation of Windows‑based environments, clients, servers, networks, and virtual infrastructure, while also driving local and company‑wide IT projects with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the local IT in our site and ensure that the IT on site runs smoothly.
- Take care for example of local user requests and tasks, network and server operation or shopfloor requests.
- Provide expert-level administration and troubleshooting of Windows 11 operating systems to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Administer Windows Server operating systems in complex IT environments, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency.
- Oversee and support the maintenance and functionality of office equipment as well as shopfloor devices, ensuring operational reliability across all areas of the site to meet organizational needs.
- Implement and manage HyperV virtual environments, maximizing resource utilization and simplifying infrastructure management.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory environments, including user and group management, policy enforcement, and security.
- Work collaboratively within the IT team to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Display a hands-on mentality and contribute actively to team efforts.
- Dual reporting structure, working administratively with local HR management while functionally reporting to Group IT.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure clear understanding of IT policies, procedures, and status updates.
- Lead and participate in IT projects, demonstrating an independent and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, taking ownership of users' problems and following through to resolution.
