Intelligent robots solve complex logistics challenges using advanced AI, computer vision, and autonomous mobility. The technology is developed in-house, from hardware to AI and algorithms, including the design and manufacturing of robots.
The role bridges the gap between autonomous mobile robots and the physical flow of goods. It combines design, problem solving, and product specialisation. You will be the go-to person for conveyor integration, ensuring that robots and a new product line work in harmony with the rest of the warehouse.
In this role, you will own the mechanical design and integration of conveyor systems. You will adapt, design, and implement the “veins and arteries” of automation systems. You will work closely with R&D and Project teams to ensure that totes move seamlessly to and from the ASRS environment.
Hlavné zodpovednosti
- Design & Adapt: Execute detailed 3D CAD designs for conveyor modules and integration interfaces using 3D CAD platforms.
- Product Integration: Help define how a new product interacts with conveyor lines to supply or store totes within the system.
- Technical Ownership: Take responsibility for the “Conveyor Scope” of projects—from initial layout and flow calculations to final hand-over.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with external suppliers to select the right components and ensure they meet technical and quality standards.
- Hands-on Prototyping: Collaborate with the workshop team to build and test new conveyor attachments or transfer modules.
- Problem Solving: Act as the technical troubleshooter when conveyor systems meet complex warehouse constraints or unique robotic requirements.
Požiadavky
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design or project engineering, with exposure to material handling and conveyor systems is a must.
- CAD Skills: Solid proficiency in 3D modeling and creating production-ready 2D drawings (the “CAD Ninja” mindset).
- Technical Curiosity: A genuine interest in how things move and a drive to innovate rather than just follow standard procedures.
- You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty on-site or in the lab to make sure a design works in reality.
