What your role will be
o Responsibility for operational and strategic procurement, primarily for indirect materials and services
o Obtaining and comparing supplier quotations as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
o Creating and placing purchase orders on time, including monitoring prices, order confirmations, and delivery dates
o Transparent and traceable selection, evaluation, and management of suppliers
o Identification and implementation of cost-saving and standardization opportunities
o Consistent compliance with procurement policies, approval processes, and compliance requirements
o Acting as the central procurement contact at our Zarnovica plant and closely coordinating with Group Procurement
o Regular reporting on savings, payment terms, purchase order volumes, and ongoing projects
Who we are looking for:
- English - Upper intermediate (B2)
- University education (Bachelor's degree)
- University education (Master's degree)
- Postgraduate (Doctorate)
What we will appreciate about you:
- Completed commercial and/or technical education
- Several years of procurement experience, ideally in an industrial environment
- Experience in indirect procurement and operational purchasing
- Good Slovak and English skills; German is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and cost awareness
