Reporting & BI Specialist (Power BI / Dynamics NAV & Business Central)

The role focuses on taking ownership of the company-wide reporting area, with a strong focus on BI and close cooperation with the ERP support team.

The role combines hands-on report creation with responsibility for evaluating the most appropriate way to deliver insights.

You will play a key role in improving performance, data consistency, and long-term sustainability of the reporting landscape.

Your role will include:

• Owning and overseeing the reporting landscape across the company
• Reviewing existing BI reports and datasets:
  • identifying obsolete or unused reports
  • consolidating and optimizing data models
  • improving performance and maintainability
• Designing shared and reusable data models instead of isolated report-level datasets
• Actively deciding whether a reporting requirement should be:
  • implemented in BI, or
  • delivered directly via the ERP
• Close collaboration with the ERP support team to:
  • understand data structures and business logic
  • ensure data correctness and consistency
• Supporting business users in defining meaningful reporting requirements
• Proposing improvements, simplifications, and best practices in reporting and BI usage
• Participating in BI-related architecture decisions and future development

Nice to have:

• Experience with ERP data structures
• SQL knowledge and understanding of data warehouses
• Previous experience in a reporting owner / BI lead role
