In this role, you will ensure end-to-end compliance with import/export, customs, and sanctions regulations while supporting responsible business growth through risk management and process optimization.

• Maintain and apply country/regional trade compliance requirements across EMEA (e.g., export controls, customs obligations, import requirements). Own or support the operational implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures in scope countries. Ensure accurate classification and documentation. • Support sanctions and restricted party screening requirements for relevant customer, supplier, and intermediary parties. Evaluate trade compliance scenarios. Coordinate escalation and resolution of potential sanctions/export control concerns in line with internal governance. • Provide guidance on customs processes and documentation requirements for imports/exports in EMEA. Identify risks in shipping terms, declarations, valuations, origin, and supporting records. Support issue remediation (e.g., incorrect declarations, missing documentation, audits findings) with relevant stakeholders. • Propose process improvements to strengthen controls and reduce the likelihood of non- compliance. Track compliance exceptions, implement corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness.

Minimum education required University education (Bachelor's degree)
Educational Specialization Law, International Trade, Supply Chain, Engineering
Language skills English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Customs & Trade Mastery: Strong grasp of EU customs codes, HS classification, origin rules, and trade documentation.
Compliance & Risk Management: Practical experience with import/export controls, sanctions screening, and risk-based compliance workflows.
Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to simplify complex trade and tariff processes.
Mobility: Readiness to travel when key business operations need your on-site support.
Desirable: Tech & Data Savvy: Experience with ERP systems or creating BI reports to optimize and automate processes.
Recognized Expertise: Familiarity with AEO / CTPAT programs or trade certifications ( e.g., CTP, CTCS/CTCM, UCC ).
