Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on
who will lead our accounting department, ensure high-quality financial reporting, and act as a key partner to local management. This role combines operational accounting oversight with responsibility for monthly and annual closing, financial analysis, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting agenda, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all financial transactions
- Manage invoicing, general ledger integrity, and regular account reconciliations
- Coordinate and execute monthly and year‑end closing activities
- Assist with ad hoc financial analyses, forecasts, and budget inputs
- Develop and deliver management reports and IFRS‑based reporting packages for group consolidation
- Administer and maintain the financial module of the ERP system, including master data governance
- Support local managers with accounting and financial tasks as needed
- Ensure internal accounting policies and procedures are up to date and followed
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Communicate with external partners, including banks, auditors, tax and customs authorities, and other institutions
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management
