Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are searching for a new colleague, with whom we can transform Slovakia together - concentrate and circulate talents, connect businesses and academy worlds through excellent research. Excellent research is inseparably connected with projects.

We are searching for a skillful and reliable colleague, who will be a strong support of our project management team. The colleague will be responsible for direct administrative support in reaching project goals and will ensure that the project grants are implemented and administered according to grant guidelines. The colleague will be responsible for the administration of projects mainly funded from Slovak Recovery and Resilience Plan and the European programs.

Responsibilities

• Administration and coordination support of grant applications (e.g. European programs - Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, other grant schemes - INTERREG, ESIF funds)
• Keeping and updating records of grant opportunities / projects, processing opinions and documents for the needs of the organization
• Providing administrative support for the research teams working on the project proposals including the application process
• Supporting the implementation of multiple projects with project and grant administration while ensuring the compliance with the rules of particular grant scheme, work schedule and budget
• Reporting towards grant authorities, preparation of payment claims / monitoring reports

Requirements

• University education (Bachelor's degree)
• English - Advanced (C1)
• Slovak - Proficiency (C2)
• Prior experience as a project assistant, support to project manager, or a similar position is welcome
• Knowledge of grant schemes is welcome
• Ability to administer multiple projects at once
• Experience with IT projects administration is an advantage, but not a must
• Excellent planning and time management skills
