Senior Internal Auditor (M/F/X)

The role supports the provision of an efficient, effective and proactive internal audit service across the International business. Key accountabilities include the delivery of audit fieldwork, drafting of reports with management actions and coaching management in their implementation of such actions in line with target completion dates. The position requires up to 60% international travel, mainly in Region.

Responsibilities

• Delivering audit fieldwork to a consistently high standard, including developing or tailoring detailed audit/risk programmes for each audit and testing both the design and operating effectiveness of controls against an agreed set of Group control standards.
• Working closely with the Regional Audit Leader to ensure key findings are discussed and agreed with management at regional and country level.
• Supporting the execution of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program at the direction of the Global SOX team and with the support of the Regional Audit Leader, including control design and testing where applicable and appropriate.
• Ensuring through constructive dialogue that findings are fact based and that relevant actions are agreed to address the issue and can be achieved within the set time frame.
• Continuing to develop expertise in business risks, systems and procedures so that the consequences of control shortcomings are understood and communicated.
• Taking ownership of assigned accountabilities to deliver concise and relevant reports, with a focus on agreed action plans to be completed within a realistic time frame.

Requirements

• Suitable for graduates
• University education (Master's degree)
• English - Advanced (C1)
• Slovak - Proficiency (C2)
• SQL - Advanced
• Microsoft Excel - Advanced
• Microsoft Word - Advanced
• Alteryx - Advanced
• Microsoft Power Bi - Advanced
• 3 years of experience
• Prior internal or external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm
• Preferably a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA /ACCA /CA /etc)
