As a Scrum Master in our organisation, I play a crucial role in facilitating the Agile development process for our projects. My days are filled with collaboration, coaching, and removing obstacles to help the team achieve their goals. I work closely with our development team, helping them understand and implement Agile principles effectively. From sprint planning to retrospectives, I ensure that our team stays on track and focused on delivering value to our stakeholders.
In addition to facilitating Agile ceremonies, project management and process improvement, I also take on people leadership duties. I serve as a mentor and coach to team members, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles. I foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best work.
As a project leader on larger initiatives, I establish the project scope, goals, and objectives. I guide the team, drive progress, and report on key performance metrics. Communication is at the heart of what I do. I facilitate open and transparent communication within the team, stakeholders and customers ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed about the project’s progress and priorities. When required, I also occasionally join meetings until 6:00 PM to support collaboration and ensure effective coordination.
As a People Lead, I support, motivate, and develop team members. I set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, manage performance and development goals, and foster a positive culture built on collaboration, ownership, and accountability.
Požiadavky
While I may not be a technical expert, I have a basic understanding of IT as such and SW development cycle encompassing requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. This knowledge allows me to effectively collaborate with the development team and understand the challenges they face. I am proficient in Agile tools and have experience with collaboration platforms. I understand the importance of effective communication and use these tools to keep the team connected and informed. Additionally, I am familiar with Agile methodologies and principles, and I am committed to staying updated on industry best practices. While certifications are not mandatory, I am open to pursuing relevant certifications to further enhance my skills and knowledge.
