Job description, responsibilities and duties

We're looking to create the audio identity of our casino games: original music, sound effects, and ambient audio that bring the player experience to life. Working closely with game designers and developers, you'll make sure the sound fits each game's theme, mood, and pacing, and works flawlessly in the final product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Game audio production

Audio production

• Compose original music and create sound effects and ambient audio for online and landbased casino games.
• Design audio that matches each game's theme, mood and pacing, as defined by the Games Designer in the Game Design Document (GDD).
• Deliver audio assets in production-ready formats, to the sound brief and the production schedule.
• Choose the composition and sound design approach, as well as production tools and techniques, within the creative direction set by the Games Designer.

Audio integration support

• Support Games Developers in integrating audio into the game – supply assets in the correct formats and specifications.
• Define audio trigger points and playback rules (e.g. loops, transitions, layering, priorities).
• Verify audio quality and behaviour in the game build and help resolve audio-related defects.

Audio consistency and quality

• Maintain audio quality standards across all games – consistent volume levels, balanced mixes and professional production quality.
• Take part in per-game audio reviews with the Lead Sound Designer and act on feedback.
• Apply the Studio's sound design standards and support audio IP compliance checks (e.g. licensing of samples and libraries).

Collaboration and process

• Align on mood, pacing and audio direction with the Games Designer during the game concept phase.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and follow the production plan managed by the Games Delivery Lead.
• Keep audio assets and audio specifications documented and stored in the agreed company repositories.
• Contribute to the Sound Design Community of Practice – sharing techniques, reusable assets and lessons learned.
