Support Engineer (EEG)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Provides remote support for enterprise, energy and government customers and their communication networks and services. Helps customers use their internet connection and related services through the following activities:

• Technical support via phone and e-mail for communication products, including data and voice services
• Communication with customers, field engineers and suppliers
• Follow-up and troubleshooting of network failures reported by customers or automatic monitoring systems, with escalation to second- or third-level support when needed
• Active role in the incident management process
• Active role in the request fulfilment process
• Remote service testing and activation
• Analysing data records
• Updating internal databases

The Enterprise Network Operation Centre provides 24/7 support. Work is organised in three shifts, compensated in addition to the base salary. Shifts are planned one month in advance, considering company and individual needs, which provides good flexibility.

The initial contract is fixed-term for one year. After mutual agreement, the contract can be changed to permanent.

Requirements for the employee

• University education, Bachelor's degree
• Specialisation in technical subjects, telecommunications, IT or networking
• English at upper-intermediate level (B2)
• The position is suitable for graduates
