We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our automotive development team. The role is focused on the implementation, testing, validation and reporting of embedded software for microcontrollers using the LIN communication protocol.

The position involves close cooperation with internal hardware development teams, external firmware suppliers, testing teams, project management and customers. The successful candidate will also support the transition of products into serial production and contribute to production processes related to firmware programming, handling and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer technical requirements related to embedded software development.
• Monitor, coordinate and support the software development process to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Review and maintain documentation related to software architecture provided by external suppliers and internal development processes.
• Verify software compliance with customer-specific LIN specifications and requirements.
• Support software implementation, integration, testing and validation activities for embedded systems.
• Coordinate and monitor software testing activities, including unit testing.
• Cooperate closely with hardware developers, software developers, test engineers and project management.
• Provide technical support during serial production and contribute to the resolution of software issues occurring in production.
• Support the launch of products into serial production, with a focus on embedded firmware.
• Participate in the development and optimization of production processes related to firmware programming, handling and testing.
• Ensure that software development activities follow relevant automotive development standards and processes, including Automotive SPICE (ASPICE).

Requirements for the employee

Minimum education required

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

• Knowledge of software development processes and standards in accordance with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE).
• Good knowledge of AUTOSAR and unit testing.
• Practical experience with microcontrollers and microcontroller programming.
