OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB As part of the EMEA AME CoE team, this role drives the optimization of product and process design to ensure manufacturability, assembly efficiency, quality, and cost performance by establishing and governing robust DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) standards with focus on DFAA (Design For Automated Assembly) and process risk management practices. The role leads the coordination and implementation of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and related technical documentation through APIS IQ-RM system, ensuring standardization, compliance, and alignment with global FMEA frameworks. Acting as a key interface across engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and global teams, the position performs structured risk analysis, supports R&D and continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthens organizational capability through training, audits, and standard development. By ensuring adherence to integrated quality, environmental, and health & safety systems, the role enables safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization. Ultimately, this role ensures that both current and future products are designed and industrialized with optimized manufacturability, controlled risks, and standardized processes, enabling safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance across the enterprise.
