Base gross monthly salary starting on 2100€/month. Salary can be higher depending on the previous experience.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a skillful accountant to join our team.

Job responsibilities will consist of 50% Slovak accounting, 50% International Accounting:

• Double-entry bookkeeping
• Checking and accounting for travel orders
• Accounting of incoming invoices, issuing and accounting of outgoing invoices, cash register
• Taking stock of accounts receivable and payable
• Preparation and control of VAT return
• Statistical reports and statements for the NBS
• Preparation and participation in the process of monthly and annual financial closing
• Bank statements, payments
• Recording and accounting for asset movements, financial flows
• Support for audit
• Support by collection weekly bank reports from other countries
• Regular reporting to the parent company

Position is a replacement during maternity leave.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position:

• Secondary with school-leaving examination
• Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
• University education (Bachelor's degree)
• University education (Master's degree)
• Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills:

• English - Upper intermediate (B2)
• Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Driving licence: B

Number of years of experience: 1

Personality requirements and skills

• Economic education
• At least one year of experience in double-entry bookkeeping
• Experience in the activities mentioned in the job description is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of legislation - Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Travel Allowances Act, Accounting Act
