Junior Internal Auditor (f/m)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in auditing, risk management, and internal controls within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your main responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing internal audit engagements across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices.
• Prepare clear, well-structured audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Identify control deficiencies, process inefficiencies, and areas of potential risk, and communicate findings to senior team members.
• Contribute to the development of audit reports, including observations, recommendations, and management action plans.
• Perform data analysis and testing procedures to support audit conclusions.
• Monitor the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions and follow up on outstanding audit recommendations.
• Contribute to building and maintaining an effective and efficient internal control environment.
• Stay current with relevant regulations, industry trends, and best practices in internal auditing.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in auditing or a related discipline; internship experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of internal control frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Professional certification in progress (e.g., CIA, ACCA, CISA) is a plus but not required.
