Information about the position
We are looking for our client a technically skilled, independent, and motivated colleague to join our innovative startup in Tornaľa, Slovakia. If you have an electrical engineering background, enjoy IT and mechatronics, and want to become an expert in cutting-edge laser machinery, this opportunity is for you.
Slovak language is NOT required (suitable for internationals). Professional communication skills in English are required for communication with the Belgian team.
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Technology Management & Calibration:
- Full care and maintenance of 3 types of advanced laser machines.
- Tuning and setting parameters to ensure the machines cut with absolute precision.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:
- Independently resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues without needing immediate external assistance.
International Coordination:
- Liaising and coordinating technical matters with the development team in Belgium who designed and manufactured the machines.
IT & Software Administration:
- Advanced operation of the machine control software.
- Minimizing dependency on the chief software engineer in Belgium for day-to-day operational tasks.
