Job description, responsibilities and duties
Join the Non-Production Procurement team and support purchasing activities for indirect goods and services in an international environment. As a Procurement Specialist, you will ensure the efficient processing of purchase orders, collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and contribute to smooth procurement operations across the organization.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Review approved purchase requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy before processing
- Validate purchase requisitions in line with global and local procurement standards and RFQ requirements
- Create purchase orders and coordinate the approval and release process
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain purchase order confirmations and ensure timely responses
- Monitor purchase order fulfillment, including delivery dates, quantities and quality requirements
- Follow up on open purchase orders, resolve discrepancies and ensure timely closure of completed orders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support efficient procurement operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, data quality and operational efficiency
