Global Commercial, a key sub-function within Care Enablement, plays a vital role in advancing the mission to improve the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease. The team brings together Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality medical devices, technical services, and impactful commercial strategies across global markets.
Positions in this sub-family are responsible for the sales and marketing activities of the organization, including the development and execution of strategies to drive business growth, market presence, and customer engagement.
As a subject matter expert (SME), the employee is responsible for:
- Leading large projects or business processes with limited oversight from management.
- Tackling complex and often ambiguous challenges using strategic thinking and in-depth industry knowledge.
Your tasks
- Lead business development initiatives, including the identification and management of alliance, channel, and network partnerships.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, including competitor analysis, network cost/pricing research, and market benchmarking.
- Oversee media planning and marketing analytics, including ROI evaluation and digital marketing strategy.
- Manage brand licensing activities to expand brand presence, ensuring alignment with brand-approved quality standards.
- Design and manage e-commerce strategy, including platform development and merchant support.
- Cooperate with internal departments (such as Finance, Customer Service, and Operations) in areas including budget planning, cash collection, and business reporting.
- Prepare tender offers for public sector customers in accordance with legal and procurement requirements.
- Develop localized marketing plans tailored to the needs and dynamics of the specific country or region.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and budget plans for management review and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies and customer messaging.
- Set and monitor team KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching, feedback, and support to drive performance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through closing.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Your profile
- A university degree, preferably in the science-related field
- Experience in selling medical devices or medicinal products
- Native Slovak Language and English language skills at B1/B2 level
- Driving licence
- Willingness for frequent business travel
- Proficiency in MS Office
