To support our local Slovakia Accounting team in investigating and resolving accounting issues related to shared services.
In this role, you will work closely with both local and centralized accounting teams to understand the root cause of accounting issues, align stakeholders on the appropriate accounting treatment and corrective actions, and provide hands-on accounting support while issues are being resolved.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting or audit professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working across teams, and improving accounting processes and controls.
Zodpovednosti
- Investigate and resolve accounting issues from shared services through root cause analysis.
- Review transactions, reconciliations, processes, controls, and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies and their causes.
- Partner with local and shared services teams to agree on accounting treatment, corrective actions, and responsibilities.
- Document findings, decisions, recommendations, and support issue resolution through to completion.
- Provide parallel accounting support and validate corrections and accounting entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting in line with GAAP and company standards.
- Monitor open issues and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities and use data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the accounting organization.
Odmeňovanie
2 500 - 2 900 EUR/month
Final agreement depends on your skill-set and experience. This is the subject of a partnership agreement during the selection process.
