Job description, responsibilities and duties

Responsible or the system, strategy, customer servise, and connection with sales.

Customer interface and sales:

• Main partner for the sales department. Negotiates quality agreements (QAA), addresses strategic customer requirements, and represents the plant during OEM audits.

System assurance (QA):

• Responsible for IATF 16949 certification. Ensures compliance of internal processes with global standards.

Stakeholder Management:

• Coordination with all support and service functions (HR, Finance, Purchasing, IT).

Investments:

• Approval of budgets for purchasing and production of measuring devices, gauges, and laboratory equipment, and proposing technical innovations to increase process capability.

• Leads and is responsible for prevention in production, methodology, and professional development of personnel.

Connection with production:

• Daily cooperation with production management and technology to ensure process stability and product quality.

Training:

• Design and implementation of training system for production personnel.
• Ensures that each operator understands visual standards and can work with assigned measuring devices.

Process prevention (Assurance):

• Management and updating of FMEA, Conrol Plans, and inspection instructions.

Non-conformity analysis:

• Leads investigations of internal defects and customer complaints (methods: 8D, 5-Whay, Ishikawa).
• Ensures functionality of metrology and testing.

Design and production of gauges:

• Designs concepts for control fixtures and gauges.
• Coordinates their production in the die shop or with external suppliers.

Metrology:

• Responsible for calibration system and verification of measurement system capability (MSA).

Testing and laboratory (including 3D):

• Management of laboratory test (functional tests, material analyses, destructive and non-destructive testing, SPC and 3D mapping).
