Communication and Fundraising Specialist (mainly home office)

A foundation, part of a regional Central European nonprofit organization serving thousands of seriously ill children since 2001. We provide free recreational therapy programs.

Serious illness often isolates the child from their friends, disrupts the usual family life and damages the carefree childhood with fear and loss of self-confidence. The foundation provides healing experiences that result in a long-lasting positive boost on a child's self-evaluation, confidence, inner strength and courage to keep going and to keep fighting. All that is packaged in fun camps, hospital, school programs and workshops in a medically safe environment where everything is possible and no disease impedes a child from living their best life and having tons of laughter.

Fundraising

• Coordinating and communicating fundraising activities and campaigns.
• Coordinating and communicating activities, fundraising campaigns and online marketing campaigns that support the development of the individual donor base.
• Planning and organizing fundraising events.
• Maintaining, developing and expanding corporate partnerships, and coordinating corporate collaborations.
• Managing and updating databases.
• Preparing reports and creative materials.
• Ad-hoc team support, mainly organizational support.

Communication

• Managing online communications, including editing websites and newsletters.
• Managing social media platforms.
• Managing related communication activities, including copywriting, creation of video and animated materials, writing blog articles and website content.
• Representing the organization at events and public engagements.
• Liaising with agencies, communication service providers, and production partners.
• Contributing to the development of the communication strategy.
• Developing and implementing communication and marketing plans.

Odmeňovanie

From 1 300 EUR/month

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience and skills.
