The role within SC&L Integrated Logistics is responsible for a wide-ranging portfolio in operational logistics ranging from truck, rail and inland waterway transports in Europe to fleet management of rail tank cars and tank containers.

Integrated Logistics controls and optimizes the entire logistics processes, taking into account compliance requirements, cooperation with logistics service providers, etc. Our holistic approach is based on the right balance between reliability, sustainability and cost-effectiveness. This includes efficient transport management, strategic logistics procurement, cross-site logistics solutions in cooperation with 3PL partners, and systematic warehouse and asset management.

Hlavné zodpovednosti

• Maintenance and review of tank containers master data (container data, inspection data, return data) and documentation of container files in logistic software program
• Planning and coordination of periodic inspections and repairs of tank containers
• Organization of necessary transports for repair and testing as well as monitoring of depot services
• Technical expertise for tank containers and support in the investigation of damage cases
• Development and optimization of processes and process descriptions for damaged containers such as testing, cleaning and return
• Management & creation of statistics to optimize operations and identify vulnerabilities
• Coordination between logistics partners for the correct procedure in the event of damage within the framework of international container regulations
• Resolving tank container issues between logistic providers and log./manufacturing sites
• Analyzing data identifying optimization opportunities and areas for improvement
• Supporting projects within logistics operations and related entities to improve on processes (e.g. transition from old system)

Požiadavky

• University, bachelor’s degree or high school diploma preferably in a field of logistics, supply chain, business administration or general middle acquired education
• Min. 3 years of experience in container/transportation logistics within chemical industry is a condition
• Very good written and spoken English (min. C1 level) and German (min. B2)
• Forwarding agent or comparable qualifications with relevant professional experience
