The ERP Transformation Manager acts as the central orchestration and coordination function for ERP transformation activities within T-Systems. The role ensures alignment across cross-functional transformation streams including Enterprise Architecture, Finance, Billing & Logistics, and Roles & Authorizations, while maintaining consistency with the overarching SAP ERP transformation strategy of the Deutsche Telekom Group. The position is responsible for structuring, coordinating, and operationalizing ERP transformation initiatives, translating strategic objectives into actionable measures aligned with business priorities and the ERP target picture. In close collaboration with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders, the role ensures transparency, governance, prioritization, and executive-ready decision-making across the ERP transformation landscape.
Coordinate and orchestrate cross-functional ERP transformation activities across T-Systems Act as the central integration point between Enterprise Architecture and domain Product Owners (Finance, Billing & Logistics, Roles & Authorizations) Support the operationalization of ERP strategy and target architecture into concrete transformation initiatives Consolidate and structure transformation streams, dependencies, priorities, and implementation plans Ensure alignment of all ERP initiatives with SAP S/4HANA transformation objectives and business value delivery Prepare and support governance structures, including Steering Committees, decision boards, and transformation forums Develop executive-ready decision papers, presentations, and management briefings Drive prioritisation and coordination of transformation activities across multiple streams and stakeholders Support budgeting, business case preparation, and financial planning for ERP transformation initiatives Coordinate resource and capacity planning across transformation initiatives Ensure transparency on transformation progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps Ensure alignment with Deutsche Telekom ERP programme while addressing T-Systems-specific needs
Fulfill Experienced Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP ERP transformation environments within large enterprises or international organisations Proven experience in coordinating complex transformation programes across multiple domains and stakeholders Strong background in transformation management, program coordination, or consulting Experience in structuring and operationalizing strategic initiatives into executable implementation plans Experience supporting executive governance structures (Steering Committees, boards, senior management communication) Strong experience in coordinating cross-functional workstreams and managing interdependencies Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes Experience working in agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), especially in scaled settings Strong stakeholder engagement experience at both operational and executive levels
Certifications SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP-related certifications are advantageous Project or programme management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe, Scrum Master, Product Owner) are beneficial Certifications in transformation management or change management are considered an advantage
IT Technical Skills Solid understanding of SAP ERP landscapes, including FI/CO, SD, MM, and PS modules Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA transformation concepts and target architectures Understanding of ERP Enterprise Architecture and integration across domains Ability to translate technical and architectural concepts into business-relevant transformation initiatives Familiarity with transformation planning and governance tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) Understanding of system dependencies and end-to-end ERP processes
