Financial Accountant

Zodpovednosti

As a member of the Accounting team, you will support the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAPs for our entities. You will execute accounting tasks and controls, review and analyze financial figures and discuss accounting-related topics with peers and colleagues from the business areas. Additionally, you will play a key role in the SAP S/4HANA implementation, being involved in mapping accounting processes and testing in the new system. Regular cross‑country collaboration through email and live meetings is an integral part of your daily work.

• Participating in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly closings according to IFRS and local GAAPs and supporting the external audit process.
• Taking responsibility for closing and day-to-day activities related to general ledger, provisions, accounts payable and accounts receivable, among other topics.
• Performing reconciliations and regular critical reviews of Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Providing support for internal control activities and participating in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Carrying out ad-hoc analyses and process alignments and supporting activities during the transition to SAP S/4HANA.
• Participating in international projects and supporting automation.

Požiadavky

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of professional experience in accounting and finance, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Knowledge of IFRS, knowledge of additional national GAAPs is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and experience with SAP.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, enabling confident interaction in an international environment. Slovak/Czech speaker.
• Team player with diligence, proactivity and a strong sense of ownership.

Odmeňovanie

From 2 500 EUR/month The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 34.000 – € 41.000 gross per year.
