About the position
The successful candidate will supervise pupils, promote good behaviour, and facilitate enjoyable and inclusive play experiences.
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise students in the playground, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Encourage positive interactions and inclusive play among students.
- Intervene in minor conflicts or incidents, following school policies on behaviour management.
- Provide first aid when necessary and report accidents or concerns to the appropriate school staff.
- Assist in organising and leading structured outdoor activities.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues in the playground.
- Support students in developing social skills and resilience through play.
- Ensure adherence to school safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to enhance students' overall school experience.
- Assist in the smooth running of the after-school programme.
