Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join the Global Non-Production Purchasing team and take ownership of strategic procurement activities within the area of Contract Logistics. As a you will manage global sourcing initiatives, lead commercial negotiations with logistics service providers, develop warehousing cost models, and drive category optimization across an international organization. Working closely with global stakeholders and suppliers, you will contribute to cost efficiency, operational excellence and the continuous development of a logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute benchmarks and strategies to independently manage global Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), including supplier communication, offer evaluation and commercial comparison
• Develop and maintain warehousing cost models to validate supplier quotations and ensure transparency and competitiveness of logistics costs
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with logistics service providers to secure optimal pricing, service levels and contractual conditions
• Manage the Contract Logistics category by identifying opportunities for cost optimization, supplier consolidation and continuous process improvement
• Build, maintain and further develop Purchasing databases to support supplier management, cost analysis and category reporting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business requirements and strategic objectives
• Analyze market developments and recommend improvements to strengthen procurement efficiency and supplier performance
• Contribute to the continuous development and standardization of Purchasing processes, tools and best practices across the organization
