Offers advanced communication and collaboration solutions to gather, process and deploy intelligence. It includes infrastructures, devices, applications and services based on Tetra, Tetrapol and Broadband technologies, either as single, hybrid or multi-technology solutions. Náplň práce

As a Field Support Engineer, you are responsible for telecommunication network and platform support, including upgrades and maintenance activities. During support activities, you will process customer-reported technical queries and incidents through incident management. You will also inform customers and authorized contact persons about the processing status. You are responsible for ensuring that the contractually agreed service levels are met. You will initiate problem management and provide necessary indications in the case of reproducible system errors.

Detailed tasks:

• Telecommunication network and platform support, including upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Implementation, commissioning and support of telecommunication products and software.
• Troubleshooting, planning upgrades and bringing innovative solutions. You will raise cases to Level 3 when needed and coordinate with the expert center.
• Coordinating with partners and reporting within customer meetings, being owner of the cases.
• Contributing to and learning from international team support, including methodology, training, lessons learned and common tools.
• As part of the EOD team, providing on-duty service and 7/24 emergency support to customers.
• Supporting testbed customer testing and internal testbed tasks.
• Supporting pre-sales activities.

Požiadavky

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications or IT engineering is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mobile communications systems and networks, including current and future visions and trends. In particular, knowledge of EPC and LTE.
• Professional experience in IP networking and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Linux distributions, virtualization, microservices and containerization.
• Professional experience in implementation or support of mobile telecommunications systems is an advantage.
