We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Systems Analyst, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality requirements in a technology-driven environment
• Requirements elicitation and documentation: Proven experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements in a structured and traceable manner
• Agile methodologies: Solid understanding and hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, including backlog management and sprint planning
• Stakeholder management: Demonstrated ability to engage and align diverse stakeholder groups, facilitating productive discussions and managing competing priorities effectively
• API testing and exploration: Comfortable running and testing APIs using tools, with the ability to interpret responses and identify issues or inconsistencies
• JSON comprehension: Ability to read and understand JSON files, enabling effective collaboration with developers and meaningful participation in technical discussions
• Basic SQL proficiency: Ability to write and run basic SQL queries to retrieve, validate, and analyse data in support of requirements investigation and testing activities

These are additional nice to haves:

• Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry, particularly in underwriting or related domains
• Familiarity with BPMN or UML for process and system modelling
• Exposure to production support environments and experience working with incident management processes
• Knowledge of software testing principles and experience supporting UAT activities
• Experience with project and documentation platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to break down complex scenarios into manageable components
