Role Overview
This position focuses on two main areas of responsibility:
Product Classification for Tax
You will conduct tax research and analysis across various product categories and jurisdictions to ensure accurate tax treatment. This includes supporting the maintenance of tax content and classification processes, working with data sources across multiple languages, and expanding data retrieval and analysis techniques to improve classification accuracy.
Tax Engine Operations and Initiatives
You will support broader operational activities to ensure the tax calculation platform complies with local and global indirect tax laws. This includes participating in projects with tax compliance impact, supporting internal and external audits, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with local business partners and tax department colleagues across multiple marketplaces.
The purpose of both areas is to deliver excellence to customers by ensuring their purchases are taxed correctly and compliantly.

- Expand and refine data retrieval and analysis techniques for improved accuracy
- Participate in team operational excellence programs and process improvements
- Maintain metrics and reporting for measuring process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support for their specific needs
- Maintain effective cross-team cooperation and communication with direct manager and team leads, providing updates and feedback to support team efficiency
