Be part of an international law firm where you’ll play a key role in keeping the billing cycle running smoothly—helping maintain the firm’s financial health and ensuring great client satisfaction.
You’ll take ownership of one or more key areas like order processing, billing, payment collections, accounts receivable, and reporting.
This role involves working as part of the large global billing team, split across the firm’s Global centers. The role demands a sharp eye for detail, a good head for figures and a proactive approach to problem solving. The team work closely with other colleagues, partners, personal assistants and commercial finance.
Additional details about the job:
- Processing and managing Billing transactions, ensuring that orders, client bills, invoices, credit memos, and receipts are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
- Acting as a liaison between the team, PAs, Partners, and clients to address inquiries, resolve issues related to billing and payments, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Assessing the creditworthiness of clients, setting credit limits, and managing the credit approval process to mitigate financial risks.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies or disputes related to client accounts, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Generating and analyzing financial reports related to Billing processes, such as audit reports, aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and collection reports, to provide insights and support
- Ensuring that all Billing processes comply with relevant regulations and firm policies and maintaining accurate and complete documentation of transactions and communications.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve Billing processes, implementing best practices, and working with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Train new team members on processes, as required.
